The New Jersey Assessment
The
Individual Student Report (ISR)
SRA menu
|
Every
11th grader is required to take the HSPA in language
arts literacy and mathematics (see the current Statewide Assessment
Schedule). The state later creates
reports for the student (the ISR),
for the school and district, and then for the whole state
(see NJ's DOE Data).
We have prepared an ISR for an imaginary
student named Monisha. We use this report to show you
how the full report looks, as well as the parts of the
report and how they relate to one another. Then we looked to see how Monisha did
on her HSPA, as well as what her next steps are.

1. Example of an Individual Student Report
We have made up an ISR for a made-up student, Monisha Crenshere.
NOTE: The top one-third of the report gives
demographic data (the school, the district, her birth date, and which school
she attends).
2. Monisha's Proficiency
Scores
Did Monisha reach
proficiency in both language arts literacy and mathematics?
3. Did Monisha qualify
to take the SRA?
