New Videos Added to English Language Learners in the Mainstream Tutorial

Videos of New Jersey teachers of English Language Learners (ELLs) were added to the online tutorial "English Language Learners in the Mainstream." The videos can be used as a professional development tool for content area teachers working with ELLs.

The teachers in the videos demonstrate lesson preparation, teaching, and reflection of their teaching practices in elementary, middle, and high school settings. The goal is to prepare teachers for effective instruction of English Language Learners in content area classrooms. The preparation, instructional strategies and assessment suggestions will help build students’ content knowledge, as well as enhance student language development.
