SCHOOL CHOICE PROGRAM STUDENTS:
PROGRAM: The Green Bank Elementary School in Washington Township located in the southeast corner of Burlington County was established almost 100 years ago. Washington Township is a rural district in the heart of the Pinelands that offers the benefits of a country school atmosphere. The original school building is still in use, with some classrooms held in a newer brick addition. Classes in what the superintendent, Brian Robinson, describes as a "quiet country school offering a solid education" are limited to 15 children. The school family atmosphere facilitates the continuation of the district's long history of providing quality education. Teachers and staff know all the children, and the children know each other. "Our staff," says Robinson, "is by far our greatest asset." PARENT INFORMATION CENTER: (609) 965-3520 E-mail: Greenbnksupt@aol.com (L. David Rhine, Superintendent) |
