2006 Statewide Survey Results

1)Federal Reports for 2005 and 2006 on classes not taught by highly qualified teachers and those taught by highly qualified teachers at the elementary, middle and high school levels, disaggregated by high poverty and low poverty; 2) the number and percent of teachers in the state who do not meet the NCLB definition of a highly qualified teacher and those who do meet the NCLB definition of highly qualified at the elementary, middle and high school levels in the aggregate and disaggregated by high and low poverty; and 3) the percent of core academic subject classes in the state not taught by highly qualified teachers and those taught by highly qualified teachers at the elementary, middle and high school levels, disaggregated by core subject area as well as by high and low poverty.
