Highly Qualified Teachers

2007-2008 Statewide Survey Results

1)Federal Reports for 2007-2008 on classes taught by highly qualified teachers at the elementary, middle and high school levels, disaggregated by high poverty and low poverty; 2) the number and percent of teachers in the state who meet the NCLB definition of highly qualified at the elementary, middle and high school levels in the aggregate and disaggregated by high and low poverty; 3) the percent of core academic subject classes in the state taught by highly qualified teachers at the elementary, middle and high school levels, disaggregated by core subject area as well as by high and low poverty; and 4)numbers and percentage of teachers using each method for demonstrating their content expertise.
