Jeanne MuziJeanne Muzi is a first grade teacher at Ben Franklin Elementary School in Lawrenceville, NJ where she has just begun her 7th year teaching.  She is an active participant in the school community as a member of the Artist in Residence Committee and as a faculty representative to the Parent Teacher Organization. Jeanne has also served as a member of the Gifted and Talented Task Force and as a pilot teacher for the hands-on Math Out of the Box Program. Jeanne has written and illustrated a children’s book entitled Sam’s Skates, and was one of the lead teachers in the Green Scene Project, a grant supported environmental program.

Jeanne graduated from Eisenhower College of the Rochester Institute of Technology and completed the Teacher Education Certification Program at Rider University. Jeanne is the proud mother of 17 year old Ben and 13 year old Chris, who attend Lawrence Public Schools. She has lived in Lawrenceville for 15 years with her husband, Tony. Jeanne believes in a hands-on, creative classroom environment where children are thinking, problem solving and actively engaged.
