The New Chart of Accounts System was forwarded to the Private Schools for Students with Disabilities on April 1, 2002. The department has received many questions in the last few months concerning the New Chart of Accounts System. In order to inform all the private schools for the disabled of these issues, I have attached a listing of the questions along with the department’s responses. This listing will be updated as additional questions are received and updates will be available on the department’s website.

In the future, updates will be available on the department’s web site and identified by the date modified. Updates will be emailed to those private schools that have notified the department of their e-mail address and will be mailed only to those private schools that haven’t notified the department of their e-mail addresses.
