The New Jersey Department of Education
Announces the Launch of the
Governors Education News Service
gens-educators
Get the latest news and information from the New Jersey Department of Education automatically e-mailed to you as soon as it is publicly released to the media.
Instead of searching for the latest news and information -- or relying on a fax or a memo to make its way to your desk -- now you can enjoy the advantage of having education news and information automatically delivered directly to you electronically when it is issued.
The New Jersey Department of Education is inviting all educators to subscribe to gens-educators -- our comprehensive e-mail news service -- to keep you informed of education news in New Jersey.
Who should subscribe to gens-educators? -- teachers, teacher aides, principals, chief school administrators and their staff, school board members, education associations, county superintendents and staff, DOE employees -- and anyone else involved in education.
By subscribing to this free service, you will receive news releases, reports, speeches, testimony, opinions, administrative code, and data, as well as any other information that the department distributes to the public. The DOEs gens-educators will also be a source of information about upcoming events and award ceremonies.
All gens-educators information will be transmitted to you by e-mail, as soon as the information is released. With this feature, you also will know when there is new information on the departments Web site at www.nj.gov/education
After you finish subscribing, please help your colleagues by forwarding this e-mail to other members of your educational organization. (An identical news service for the public - parents and students - will be launched shortly by the DOE.)
Subscribing takes one step:
