Goal I of the Program Plan:
þ
The LEA's materials, programs and activities for providing instruction
in the Core Curriculum Content Standards for Comprehensive Health and
Physical Education: 1) Standard 2.3: Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs;
2) Standard 2.2: Personal and Interpersonal Life Skills; and 3) Standard
2.1: Health Promotion, Disease Prevention and Health-Enhancing Behaviors.
Goal II of the Program Plan:
þ The LEA's
professional development strategies which support achievement of the
Core Curriculum Content Standards for Comprehensive Health and Physical
Education: 1) Standard 2.3: Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs; 2) Standard
2.2: Personal and Interpersonal Life Skills; and 3) Standard 2.1: Health
Promotion, Disease Prevention and Health-Enhancing Behaviors.
Goal III of the Program Plan:
The programs, services and activities which support the
LEA's comprehensive program of drug and violence prevention and intervention,
which is designed for all students (ages 5-17) and employees to
achieve the following purposes:

prevent the use, possession and distribution of tobacco, alcohol
and illegal drugs for students and prevent the illegal use, possession
and distribution of such substances by employees;
þ
prevent violence and promote school safety; and
þ
create a disciplined environment conducive to learning.
Goal IV of the Program Plan:
þ The programs,
services and activities implemented to support the LEA's comprehensive
program of drug and violence prevention and intervention which promote
the involvement of parents and coordination with community groups and
agencies, including the distribution of information about the LEA's
substance abuse and safety needs, goals and programs.
