Title V, Part A - Annual Statewide Summary

Local education agencies in New Jersey used Title V funds to support the implementation of the Core Curriculum Content Standards, supplement community service programs, and enhance libraries with the purchase of books and supplies.

New Jersey used its state level Title V funds to: (a) support the further development and continued implementation of an authentic performance-based assessment of arts programs; (b) produce a conference focused on highlighting programs by state agencies and community based organizations that promote equity and create opportunities for youth, especially those in academically and economically disadvantaged communities; and (c) support board training for charter school administrators.
