Decisions of the State Board of Education prior to 1992 are included in New Jersey School Law Decisions. Some, but not all, decisions from 1992 through July 1997 are included in the New Jersey Administrative Reports (N.J.A.R. 2d). This site offers all State Board decisions from January 1997 to date. Those decisions include the State Board's determinations of all appeals from decisions of the Commissioner, State Board of Examiners, and the School Ethics Commission.
Decisions of the State Board of Education constitute the final agency decisions in cases appealed, and, accordingly, they are appealable as of right to the Appellate Division of Superior Court.
