The recursive nature of second language instruction requires that most Cumulative Progress Indicators be addressed in many contexts and in multiple units throughout a proficiency level.

The Novice-Mid World Languages units for grades 6-12 consist of the following 7 thematic units of study:

Unit 1 – All About Me
Unit 2 – School Days
Unit 3 – Home, Sweet, Home
Unit 4 – Food, Glorious Food
Unit 5 – Celebrations!  
Unit 6 – Migratory Animals
Unit 7 – Going Green
