Department of Education Releases Guidance for the New Election Law

The New Jersey Department of Education today released guidance to districts about a new state law that gives local school boards the authority to move their annual school elections from April to November.  The guidance document was prepared by a joint team of representatives from the Department of Education, the Division of Elections in the Department of State, the Attorney General’s Office, and the Department of Community Affairs.
