2014 Standards Public Review and Comment

Every five years, the State Board of Education is required to review and re-adopt the Core Curriculum Content Standards, which include the Preschool Standards.

The re-adoption process will be conducted in two parts.  The first set of standards to be considered will include: Visual & Performing Arts, Comprehensive Health & Physical Education, Science, World Language, Social Studies, Mathematics and English Language Arts.  The second set of standards will include Technology and 21st Century Life and Careers.

Educators and others interested in speaking at any of the public hearings for the first set of standards must register below using the appropriate link.   Public hearings for the second set of standards will be scheduled at a later date.  Sessions for the first set of standards will be conducted from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the following locations:
