Welcome! This tutorial is designed to help New Jersey educators, as well as high school students, prepare for the reading (narrative and persuasive texts) as well as writing (writing to speculate, and writing to persuade) portions of the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) in language arts. It consists of five individual Clusters covering the five fundamental components of the HSPA Language Arts test: Use the image map, below, or the Table of Contents to negotiate through the tutorial.
NOTE: the Revise/Edit for HSPA is for Field Testing only; but it is an operational part of the GEPA.
EXTRA, EXTRA: see Writing Assistance for Middle and High Schools.
