Writing Sample Scoring "1"

The following  writing sample for the Writing To Speculate Prompt scored a "1" based on the New Jersey Registered Holistic Scoring Rubric.  

Scorers made the following comments about the sample below:

This sample attempts to tell what is in the picture but the lack of vocabulary, the sentence structure, and the coherency interfere with the ideas. There is no coherent story or explanation. The sample is simply an attempt to list, randomly, what the student sees in the picture. There is no conclusion. Mechanically, many of the sentences are incomplete, there are many sentence errors, and there are subject-verb agreement errors.
