American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) ACTFL provides vision, leadership and support for quality teaching and learning of languages. Specifically, it provides advocacy, professional development opportunities, resources and opportunities for members to interact and share ideas and experiences.
National Foreign Language Resource Centers National Foreign Language Resource Centers are funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education to improve and enrich foreign language education nationwide. Currently, fourteen centers exist nationwide, each with a particular area of concentration.

National Network for Early Language Learning (NNELL) NNELL is an organization for educators involved in teaching foreign languages to children. NNELL provides leadership, support, and service to those committed to early language learning and coordinates efforts to make language learning in programs of excellence a reality for all children.
