| There
are many important steps in carrying out the New Jersey
statewide assessment program. The first steps in the process
include having a coherent test design, writing items that
accurately represent the test design, and field testing
the items to obtain statistical information on each item.
After the test is assembled, and the students take the
test, then the results are obtained. Reporting the
results in an educationally useful manner makes the entire
process a beneficial experience for students, parents
and educators. |
