Folder Four, Components of Mentor Training, provides information to assist the LPDC, school leaders, mentor training providers, and mentors as they plan, implement and evaluate the mentoring program. The information includes the qualities of effective mentors, criteria for mentor selection, the roles and responsibilities of a mentor, and components of comprehensive mentor training. Numerous resources are provided in this folder to facilitate the selection, training, and ongoing support of mentors.
