Monmouth County Historical Association (MCHA)
This local jewel is recognized as one of the country's leading regional history organizations, the MCHA maintains and operates a museum, an extensive library and archives and four historic sites.

In addition to the main museum and library located in Freehold, NJ, the MCHA also offers Educational Trunk Programs and tours of four historic homes located in Monmouth County.

This program is designed to raise student achievement by improving teachers’ knowledge, understanding of and appreciation for traditional U.S. history. Grant awards will assist LEAs, in partnership with entities that have content expertise, to develop, document, evaluate and disseminate innovative and cohesive models of professional development.
