Step One
   Decide which local and State Standards that your activity encompasses

Step Two
   Decide which Cumulative Progress Indicators (CPIs) are involved with the activity

Step Three
  Group the Cumulative Progress Indicators to enable a "big picture" view of them

   Target the specific CPIs involved in each standard for this activity

   Develop questions for each of the CPIs (keeping the Standard in mind) for the particular grade.

  Combine and/or re-word the questions developed in Step Five.  Decide on whether you would like to use open-ended and/or multiple choice questions.  Use the Step 7 Worksheet (ESPA, GEPA) if you would like.
