About NJ ASK Pre-ID Submission
The purpose of the NJ ASK Pre-ID submission is to collect the student data needed to pre-print labels for students taking the NJ ASK assessment. This eliminates the need to hand bubble tests and provides tighter integration with the Student Identifiers (SIDs) generated through NJ SMART. The NJ-ASK Pre-ID Submission is required only for LEAs that serve grade levels 3-8. NJ SMART began this collection in the 2010-2011 School Year.
The next Official NJ ASK Pre-ID Submission will take place beginning in November 2013. The option to hand-grid and update student data through the Record Change Roster process will remain the same as it has in previous years.
The NJ ASK Pre-ID Student Handbook, file templates, and supplemental resources can be downloaded from the Documents for Downloads page in the Help and Support tab of NJ SMART.
