School Improvement Plan (SIP)

• Plan specific and targeted actions based upon needs identified in Quality School Review
• Comprehensive and individualized, based on the unique needs of the school
• Created in collaboration by schools, districts, and RAC staff

School Accountability Management Systems (SAMS)

• Measure school progress and student outcomes based on clearly defined metrics
• Includes:
  • End of Unit Assessment System to support instruction
  • Data Analytics Tool to gain timely insights to guide school improvement
• Teachers see the learning progress for each of their students related to the standards-aligned Math and ELA curriculum
• Principals and school leaders use relevant and timely data to collaborate on instructional best practices
• RAC staff measures school progress and performance during the instructional cycles

Student Performance

• Formative student performance and progress monitored on 6-8 week instructional cycles (Priority Schools only)
• Annual student performance on NJASK and HSPA
