Public Reporting
on
State Performance Plan Indicators

In fulfillment of the requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA 2004), under section 616(b)(2)(C)(ii)(1), each state must report annually to the public on the performance of each local school district in relation state targets reported in the New Jersey State Performance Plan (SPP)/Annual Performance Report (APR). The state targets for compliance indicators were set by the federal government at 100% (see indicators 9, 10, 11, 12, 13); the state targets for performance indicators were set by a special education stakeholder group (see indicators 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 14).
