Indicator 2: Drop-Out Rates – Percent of youth with IEPs dropping out of high school

Data Source: End of the Year Report (Collection Date: June 2010) and : NJSMART - October 15, 2009 for the school year July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010

Calculation:   The drop-out rate for students with disabilities is calculated by dividing the number of students with disabilities ages 14-21 that dropped-out for a given year by the total enrollment of students with disabilities ages 14-21 for that year.

In the drop-out rate calculation, drop-outs include "drop-outs" as well as "moved not known to be continuing.”
