3b. Participation Rate for the Disability Subgroup Calculation: The participation rate for each tested grade span for the disability subgroup is calculated by dividing the number of students with IEPs who participated in the general assessments in the grade span, with or without accommodations, plus the number of students who participated in the APA in their grade span, by the total number of students with IEPs enrolled in the district as reported by the districts at the time of the administration of the general assessments. The minimum ‘n’ size for participation for each grade span is 40 students.
