NJ's Instructional Improvement System
The New Jersey Department of Education has launched an Instructional Improvement System called edConnectNJ. edConnectNJ is a tool that that supports data-driven education by integrating assessment, data management, instructional support resources and curriculum and planning. The program is available to all districts in NJ. For details, please review the information in the Overview above and also in the tab called About edConnectNJ - Detailed Features.
The DOE has added additional staffing to the IIS team this past year. edConnectNJ users now have four devoted staff, two 100% field-based. Our field managers engage in the implementation process the moment a district shows interest, and when a district chooses to implement, our field managers are a direct contact and line of support.
As of December 2015, forty-five New Jersey districts have committed to using the edConnectNJ system and are finding great value in the tool. Please email us to be connected with another district successfully using the program.
