Nonpublic Technology Initiative
The New Jersey Nonpublic School Technology Initiative Program is authorized by language in the Appropriations Act authorizing Nonpublic Technology Initiative Aid to be paid to school districts and allocated for nonpublic school pupils in a manner that is consistent with the provisions of the federal and state constitution. Public and nonpublic schools were invited to register to attend a technical assistance session on June 24, 2014 to clarify requirements and the roles and responsibilities of the public and nonpublic schools. Please note that there were minimal changes to the program this year so this session was for novice or otherwise interested participants from public and nonpublic schools.
The Guidelines, Timelines, Allowable and Non-Allowable Expenditures and Technical Assistance Information are posted at: http://www.state.nj.us/education/techno/nptech.htm.
An archived webinar is posted below that reflects the information that was presented at the technical assistance session at the New Jersey Department of Education.
