More than 32,000 applications were received for the Universal Service Fund - Year 2.
This eleventh wave notified agencies that submitted approximately 700 applications.
Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed nationally in the form of a discount on eligible services for this wave: approximately $57 million.

NEW JERSEY INFORMATION

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed to New Jersey in the form of a discount on eligible services in this wave: $1,924,426.68. Total amount committed to New Jersey at this time: $21,750,233.36, which is 2.7% of national total thus far (approximately $791 million).

Total number of awards in NJ for wave eleven: 72.

Number of agencies notified in this eleventh wave: 40. (NJ comprised 5.7% of the total national funded applications for this wave.)
