More than 32,000 applications were received for the Year 2 Universal Service Fund.

This second wave notified agencies that submitted approximately 900 applications.

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed nationally in the form of a discount on eligible services for this wave: approximately $16 million.

NEW JERSEY INFORMATION

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed to New Jersey in the form of a discount on eligible services in this wave: $209,346.04. Total amount committed to New Jersey at this time: $2,665,952.56, which is 2.5% of national total (approximately $105 million).

Total number of awards in NJ for wave two: 24.

Number of agencies notified in this second wave: 14. (NJ comprised 1.6% of the total national funded applications.)
