More than 32,000 applications were received for the Universal Service Fund - Year 2.

This third wave notified agencies that submitted approximately 1,400 applications.

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed nationally in the form of a discount on eligible services for this wave: approximately $139 million.

NEW JERSEY INFORMATION

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed to New Jersey in the form of a discount on eligible services in this wave: $1,034,338.54. Total amount committed to New Jersey at this time: $3,700,291.10, which is 2.7% of national total thus far (approximately $139 million).

Total number of awards in NJ for wave three: 56.

Number of agencies notified in this third wave: 35. (NJ comprised 2.5% of the total national funded applications.)
