More than 32,000 applications were received for the Universal Service Fund - Year 2.

This sixth wave notified agencies that submitted approximately 1,324 applications.

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed nationally in the form of a discount on eligible services for this wave: approximately $49 million.

NEW JERSEY INFORMATION

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed to New Jersey in the form of a discount on eligible services in this wave: $400,801.43. Total amount committed to New Jersey at this time: $5,751,288.85, which is 1.3% of national total thus far (approximately $428 million).

Total number of awards in NJ for wave six: 60.

Number of agencies notified in this sixth wave: 48. (NJ comprised 3.6% of the total national funded applications.)
