More than 32,000 applications were received for the Universal Service Fund - Year 2.

This seventh wave notified agencies that submitted approximately 1,061 applications.

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed nationally in the form of a discount on eligible services for this wave: approximately $50 million.

NEW JERSEY INFORMATION

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed to New Jersey in the form of a discount on eligible services in this wave: $2,558,520.25. Total amount committed to New Jersey at this time: $8,320,829.10, which is 1.7% of national total thus far (approximately $478 million).

Total number of awards in NJ for wave seven: 47.

Number of agencies notified in this seventh wave: 40. (NJ comprised 3.8% of the total national funded applications.)
