More than 32,000 applications were received for the Universal Service Fund - Year 2.
This ninth wave notified agencies that submitted approximately 1,000 applications.
Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed nationally in the form of a discount on eligible services for this wave: approximately $81 million.

NEW JERSEY INFORMATION

Total amount of Universal Service Funds committed to New Jersey in the form of a discount on eligible services in this wave: $1,999,017.96. Total amount committed to New Jersey at this time: $13,580,182.49 which is 2.0% of national total thus far (approximately $664 million).
Total number of awards in NJ for wave nine: 35.
Number of agencies notified in this ninth wave: 21. (NJ comprised 2.1% of the total national funded applications for this wave.)
