The New Jersey Technology Literacy Challenge Grant Educational Technology and Whole School Reform grant program generated materials that can assist Abbott schools with enhancing the implementation of whole school reform models through the use of technology in order to increase achievement of the Core Curriculum Content Standards. The recipients of the grant had to support the development and dissemination of strategies, multimedia resources and professional development activities designed to infuse technology into whole school reform models.
Partnerships were developed between an Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC), an Abbott school district, and a whole school reform model developer. Professional Development activities resulted in the development of strategies and multimedia resources that will allow Abbott schools to influence instruction and curriculum for compliance with urban education reform in the Abbott districts (N.J.A.C. 6:19A.) Various resources were developed as a result of the grant implementation.
The following table provides information on the grant resources developed including a bulleted summary, contact persons, and school and adopted model chosen. Contact the ETTC, the partner school or your School Review and Improvement (SRI) team member for more information.
