Statement of Effectiveness The Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF), a faith-based provider based in Perth Amboy, administers on-site programs in seven (7) of the 11 public schools in Perth Amboy-three elementary schools (K-4); two middle schools (5-8); the high school; and the alternative learning center (school for secondary-level special needs students). The scope of JRF's operations presently serve over 25,000 high risk children, youth and families. With a staff of over 200 professionals and an annual income approaching $9 million (refer to note below), JRF's School-based portfolio consists of the following: 1. School-Based Youth Services Program based in Perth Amboy High School; 2. 21st Century Community Learning Center based in three elementary schools: 3. New Jersey After 3 based in two middle schools; and 4. Operation Hope based in the alternative learning center The balance of JRF's scope includes: Parent agency of Boys & Girls Clubs of Perth Amboy, a newly established affiliate of BGGC of America, who currently serve over 450 Perth Amboy youth; Lead agency of Middlesex County Youthbuild Consortium, an educational and vocational provider (particularly in the construction and building trades) for out-of-school young adults, ages 18-24; parent agency of Jewish Renaissance Medical Center (JRMC), a federally qualified health center that provides medical, dental, and behavioral care to nearly 19,000 patients in Perth Amboy and Newark; and Administrator of Operation Lifeline International, a coordination of medical missions in third-work nations. Note - the operating budget combines the operations of JRF, JRMC (established as distinct entity of JRF) and Boys & Girls Clubs of Perth Amboy (established as legal subsidiary of JRF).
