| Statement of Effectiveness | Innovative Educational Programs, LC (IEP) is a leader in providing a wide array of specialized educational services in the United States and Puerto Rico, and is an approved provider of Supplemental Educational Services in Michigan, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Washington DC, Illinois and Puerto Rico, with applications pending in several other states. IEP has an extensive record in providing supplemental, small group instruction to children who have been at-risk. Much of our work has been in urban centers including New York, Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, Baltimore and Puerto Rico. IEP's Learning Alliances Program offers language arts and mathematics instruction with State-certified teachers who receive additional training in our methods and curriculum. High expectations for student performance, accountability, scientifically based teacher methods and a results-oriented work ethic define our Learning Alliances Program Model. Students are taught by making connections to what they know and are taught to apply the new knowledge or skill to things that are relevant to them. This ensures that learning is effective. IEP also has a term of curriculum and staff development specialists who support the delivery of services in all projects. They work closely with our instructors to ensure the success of each of our students. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
