Title I Training & Technical Assistance

The Office of Title I Program Planning and Accountability is committed to providing training and technical assistance to Title I districts and schools across the state since the inception of the reauthorized Improving America’s Schools Act of 1994 and the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. The New Jersey Department of Education through the Office of Title I Program Planning and Accountability coordinates the provision of training and technical assistance for Title I-Part A and Comprehensive School Reform. A series of modules are implemented across the state to comply with federal Title I regulations.

The six modules include:

(1) Title I Program Managers Training
(2) The Single Accountability System
(3) School Improvement
(4) Parental Involvement
(5) Scientifically-Based Research Programs
(6) NCLB Teacher Training
