New Jersey’s Leadership on Energy, Economic Development and Green Jobs
The State Energy Council held a public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 1 at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy to provide an overview of the Governor's energy initiatives on greenhouse gas reduction, green jobs and economic development, energy efficiency and renewable energy, all part of the Energy Master Plan. The morning and afternoon sessions were moderated by the Governor's Chief Energy Policy Advisor, Kenny Esser, with introductory remarks by President Jeanne M. Fox of the Board of Public Utilities (BPU).Other speakers:

The Board of Public Utilities accepted a report outlining a strategy for energy efficiency for New Jersey prepared by the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP). All comments recieved and the Response Document have been posted. Read report and public comments.
