General Responsibilities:
Each Committee has certain inherent responsibilities. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Broadening community access and participation
  • Recommend strategic and reuse options based on the exploration and deliberation of specifics in their focus area.
  • Provide input with regard to their focus area, to the RFP development.
  • Review and comment on Plan as it evolves, relative to their focus area.
  • Submit periodic updates, or notes of interest as appropriate, to the FMERPA Website.
Provide status reports to the Authority Board and public at each monthly FMERPA meeting.

It is anticipated that each committee will operate on a consensus basis, giving reasonable consideration to input from its public members as well as input solicited from appropriate outreach organizations.

General Objective:
It is the Objective of each Advisory Committee to expand the scope of consideration and thus enhance the redevelopment capabilities of the Authority.
