Cool New Jersey - Cool New Jersey is a local affiliate of the national Cool Cities campaign. These are cities that have made a commitment to stopping global warming by signing the US Mayor’s Climate Protection Agreement.

State Actions

Governor Corzine’s Executive Order #54 sets targets for statewide greenhouse gas emission reductions:

o Stabilize at 1990 levels by 2020
o Reduce to 80% below 2006 levels by 2050
