State Budget Forum - 05/09/2008
Key State budget officials will be participating in a panel discussion arranged by the State League of Municipalities with local government officials on May 20 to discuss the State's FY 09 budget and it's impact on local governments. State Treasurer David Rousseau, DCA Commissioner Joe Doria, Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee Chair Barbara Buono, Assembly Budget Committee Chair Lou Greenwald, Senate Republican Budget Officer Leonard Lance and Assembly Republican Budget Officer Joe Malone will attend this event. Jim Hooker, Statehouse Correspondent for NJN Television, will moderate the panel of these key state policy-makers and veteran mayors.
The event is Tuesday, May 20, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. - Noon at the War Memorial George Washington Ballroom West Lafayette Street, in Trenton.
Registration is required: download the registration form www.njslom.com and click on the Calendar of Events or call the League office if you need a registration form faxed. The registration fee will be $25.00 for elected and appointed officials serving member municipalities.

Annual Policy Symposium features Records Management Track - 04/07/2008
Records managers and other officials should know about the annual AGA-ASPA Public Policy Symposium on April 25 at the Trenton Marriott. This year’s event includes a first - a separate track - 3 sessions on government Records Management.
