During the transition, I called upon a diverse group of experts to join our policy advisory groups and produce recommendations on a range of important policy issues. It was an open, bipartisan, and deliberative process, and I intend to take the results very seriously.

Each of the policy groups submitted to me a report with their analysis and recommendations.  A great deal of time and energy went into these reports and I am grateful to all those who participated.  I appreciate their time, their candor and their dedication to public service in the interest of all New Jerseyans.

I have made a pledge to run a government that is open and accountable, and with that in mind I have made these reports publicly available. It is important that the people of New Jersey are fully aware of the problems facing our state, the options available and the difficult choices that we face moving forward. 

Please be advised that these remain recommendations that the Cabinet and I are carefully studying and evaluating. These reports do not reflect the policy of this Administration and should not be construed as such.  I look forward to many future opportunities to engage the public in policy ideas and, again, express my appreciation to all those who participated in this process.
