GOVERNOR CORZINE SIGNS LEGISLATION

TRENTON - Governor Jon S. Corzine signed the following bills into law today:

S-335/ACS for A-1518/1430 (S. Kean, Adler/Rible, Fisher, Angelini, Burzichelli, Bramnick, Milam) – Authorizes each municipality that shares courtroom facilities with one or more municipalities to appoint a judge and an administrator.

S-795/A-1912 (Sarlo, Van Drew/Fisher, Conaway, Albano, Karrow) – Appropriates $33 million from “Garden State Green Acres Preservation Trust Fund” for State acquisition of lands for recreation and conservation purposes.

A-1586/S-390 (Cohen, Rodriguez/Gill) – Prohibits unfair discrimination in the issuance, renewal, or rating of life insurance policies based on future foreign travel.

A-1862/S-627 (Conaway, Munoz/Vitale) – Increases membership of Advisory Graduate Medical Education Council of NJ from 14 to 15 members.

A-1910/S-796 (McKeon, Evans/B.Smith, Van Drew) – Delays effective date of recycling tax and adjusts allocation of moneys in the State Recycling Fund.
