TRENTON - Governor Jon S. Corzine today issued the following statement regarding the death of Marian A. Pallone:

“It is with great sadness today that I learned of the passing of Marian Pallone.  As a long time Monmouth County Democratic Committeewoman, a member of the Long Branch Democratic Party and a communicant of Holy Trinity RC Church, Marian dedicated her life to her family and community. 

“Marian was an exceptional and inspiring person who will be missed.  My deepest sympathy and prayers are with Congressman Pallone and his family and friends during this time.”
