Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno Celebrates FlightSafety International Expansion at Ribbon Cutting Ceremony


Leading Aviation Training Company Spreads Wings in Moonachie Facility

Trenton, NJ - Emphasizing New Jersey's commitment to retain and help businesses grow in the Garden State and create new jobs, Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno today joined officials from FlightSafety Inc. to celebrate the renovation and expansion of their Teterboro Learning Center in Moonachie.

“Last June we stood here to mark the groundbreaking for this new facility. One year later, we gather to celebrate the completion of this state-of-the-art training center, “ said Lt. Governor Guadagno. “FlightSafety is a great example of how businesses that already have a presence in New Jersey can continue to expand and grow.  The Christie Administration congratulates Flight Safety on their exciting new learning center and we look forward to their continued success.”

FlightSafety received state tax incentives that allowed the company to stay and expand in Moonachie retaining nearly 100 jobs. The expanded facility accommodates up to eight full flight simulators, and offers state-of-the-art facilities for flight crew emergency training that includes a pool and other specialized equipment. It also features advanced technology classrooms, aircraft cabin training facilities, and enhanced office areas.  The expansion and extensive renovations have increased the size of the Teterboro Learning Center by fifty percent.
