GOVERNOR CORZINE SIGNS LEGISLATION

TRENTON - Governor Jon S. Corzine signed the following bills into law today:

S-2330/A-3522 (Turner, Sacco/Quigley, Wisniewski, Panter, Johnson, Cohen) – Clarifies that suspension for non-driving related offense is distinct from suspension for driving related offense.

A-1973/S-1748 (Cryan, Stanley, Wisniewski, Johnson, Malone/Connors, Girgenti) – Requires Office of Attorney General to provide annual gang education seminars for school administrators.

ACS for A-2986/S-2010 (Watson Coleman, Steele, Sires, Malone, Conaway, Chivukula/Turner, Girgenti) – Requires Disadvantage Youth Employment Opportunities Council to report to State Employment and Training Center and adds three members; and makes an appropriation of $50,000.
