Deputy Chief of Staff

Mark Matzen joined the administration as a Deputy Chief of Staff in March 2009. In his position he oversees outreach and coordination with local elected officials as well as the Governor’s Office of Appointments. Previously, Matzen served as Senior Vice President of Public and Government Affairs at the MWW Group.  Mr.Matzen also served as an Assistant Commissioner for the New Jersey Department of Transportation in 2003. He received a B.A. in Economics from San Diego State University.
