Purpose: 
The Council advises the Commissioner on the development and implementation of the Arthritis Quality of Life Initiative in DHSS, which promotes public awareness about Arthritis; options for preventions; the value of early detection and treatment; and the delivery of programs and services aimed at improving the quality of life.
