Health Care Access Study Commission

Purpose: 
The Commission studies and develops specific recommendations regarding the most effective means of achieving the goal of establishing a health care system in the State that provides access to health care for State residents, which is affordable and cost-efficient and provides comprehensive benefits, including benefits for mental health and long-term care services; fosters a strong network of health care facilities; ensures continuity of coverage and care; and maximizes consumer choice.
